Staff positions are available within the laboratory. Successful applicants will join a team researchers examining molecular mechanisms regulating programmed cell death and mechanisms of neural target innervation both development and following injury. The laboratory utilizes a variety of functional, morphologic, and molecular analyses to examine CNS injury in lines of genetically modified mice.

Qualifications: With the exception of interns, applicants should minimally possess a B.Sc. / B.A. in the life/physical sciences. In addition, experience in the following is useful but not essential: primary cell culture, histology, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, protein production / purification, gene modification, anatomy / physiology, and/or surgical experience.

Graduate school applicants may apply at any time, but are encouraged to apply to the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Toronto prior to May 25th to receive full consideration for the following academic year.
