The unit consists of a high-resolution flourescent imager, digitizer, and computer workstation. This unit is used primarily to perform quantitative comparisons of samples in electrophoretic gels (Ethium bromide, Sybr Green) and Western blots (ECL). Instructions for use of the instrument are posted at the workstation. Copies of the analysis software for this unit are available at the workstation for users to download onto local (Pharmacy) computers. MIH provides maintenance for the unit, and retains master copies of all related Innotech software. |
