Tissue Processing and Embedding

To setup an account for this system, fill out the following form, and see deposit conditions which apply. The completed form may be emailed to the facility administrator. You will be sent your MIH ID and password via email once the account is established.

Internal Academic (Pharmacy):                       $4/block
External Academic (University of Toronto):     $6/block
Non-Academic:                                                $10/block

To submit samples, place them in the appropriate bin (depending on processing type and schedule) located next to microtome in room 930. Samples for the day's run will be collected for processing at 5:00 pm. Individuals wishing to block their own samples should come to the Henderson laboratory (Room 938) at 10:00 am Friday morning. Otherwise, samples with be blocked by MIH staff and returned in the "OUT" bin in (Room 930) Friday by 11:00 am.
